John Neiva is Professor Emeritus of Management at Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business with a teaching career spanning over 25 years at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels. Research and teaching focus on business strategy, international business, and organizational sustainability, with extensive academic publishing in these areas. In addition, he co-authored the second edition of Organizational Change and Strategy: An Interlevel Dynamics Approach, and co-edited the books Green Products: Perspectives on Innovation and Adoption and Green Power: Perspectives on Sustainable Electricity Generation. With over 20 years’ experience in international business prior to joining academia, Dr. Neiva was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, and a partner at JPMorgan Partners. Dr. Neiva holds Electrical and Systems Engineering degrees from Rio de Janeiro’s PUC, an M.SC. in Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, an MBA with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School, and an M.A. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
