After many years in healthcare precepting new Patient Care Assistants, Registered Nurse, and Nurse Practitioners, I began teaching adjunct at both Millersville University and PA College of Health Sciences. I accepted the position as Assistant Clinical Professor and Track Coordinator for the FNP program in July 2025 and officially transitioned into the role in December 2025. I am excited to help educate, motivate, and support Nurse Practitioner Students on their journey into the novice Nurse Practitioner role!

  • Principal Investigator
    Penn Medicine | March 2024 - Present 
    I am the Principal Investigator for the BE IMMUNE and I SCREEN trials that Penn Medicine is conducting at Lancaster General Health. I meet biweekly with the research team to approve the clinical aspect of their trial and to ensure that there are few glitches to implementation. I choose pilot sites and communicate with all PCP offices included in these trials. I have presented each trial separately at Primary Care Council meetings, which include all upper administration at LGH. I did site visits to ensure that the trials were running smoothly and that the staff understood their role in these trials. The BE IMMUNE trial has completed, but I SCREEN is still ongoing. The BE IMMUNE trial sent text messages to patients reminding them to get their influenza vaccines at their next visit and AI bot would place the order for the provider. I SCREEN sends a text message to patients reminding them to schedule their mammogram before and after their appointment. I will be provided the opportunity to be included in publication of these trials once they are done data analysis.

    Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Wellness Express | March 2022 - Present
    I accepted this position as Lead APP and then worked to get the role transitioned into Managing Clinician. I became the 3rd managing clinician at the organization that was an Advanced Practice Provider (APP). At his location, we treat/manage acute illness, provide presentation care (vaccines, PPDs), and do physical exams. We act as overflow for all the family practices, which means we do manage some chronic illnesses as well. As manager, I have six CRNPs that report to me, I run monthly staff meetings, and I am responsible for doing the schedule and approving leave of absences and employee reimbursements. I am part of the APP steering committee, Primary Care Council, and Managing Clinician Council. I was managing clinician at LGHealth Wellness Express until January 2026, when I transitioned to the role of Track Coordinator at SJU.

    Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Walter L. Aument Family Health Center | July 2019 - March 2022 
    Primary Care Provider, Family Nurse Practitioner. I managed acute and chronic illness, promoted preventative care and health wellness, and reduced care gaps for high risk patients. While working there, I started fingerstick A1cs to decrease extra lab visits for patients, which helped improve compliance and therefore decreased the number of uncontrolled diabetics. I also worked with the managing physician to rewrite the anticoagulation policy, which decreased the number of patients inappropriately using anticoagulants longer than necessary based on their health condition. Lastly, I worked on the electronic consult committee (e-consult) which bridged the gap between PCP and specialty practice e-consults.
