As the Director of Advancement Events within the Office of Development-Operations at Saint Joseph’s University working directly with the AVP of Advancement, Tamara and her team lead the strategic planning and execution of high-profile events that strengthen alumni engagement, cultivate donor relationships and support the university’s mission. From large-scale fundraising initiatives to donor celebrations and community-centered programs, she works to deliver experiences that inspire and drive long-term support. She also plays a key role in university-wide initiatives such as HawkFest Weekend and Commencement events.
Prior to joining Saint Joseph’s, Tamara served as Vice President of Healthy Kids Running Series where she was instrumental in the organization’s national expansion—from its early presence in just 18 towns to more than 300 communities across the country, reaching approximately 60,000 participants annually. She led strategic programmatic initiatives to expand access in underserved communities, developed inclusive programming for youth of all abilities and managed a national sponsorship portfolio that included partners such as New Balance, Lidl, Giant, Stride Rite and Musselman’s.
Tamara holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Nonprofit Management as well as a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education, both from Cabrini University. She also participated in the Staff Ignatian Leadership Program at Saint Joseph’s University.
