I received my B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University. After 4 years in the U.S. Army, I returned to school for my certificate in Medical Technology. I have been working in Clinical laboratories intermittently over the last 30 years, including serving as a Clinical Laboratory Manager. For the last 20 years I have been employed at educational institutions including serving as Laboratory Manager, Safety Officer, Chemical Hygiene Officer and adjunct faculty. Since 2017 I have been an Instructor and Clinical Coordinator for the Medical Laboratory Science Program here at the University. I also have my Master's Degree in Health Sciences Education from PA College. I am married and residing in downtown Lancaster, where my husband and I rehabbed an old building in the city.
