As an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission, Shawn Austin supports prospective students from Montgomery and Bucks counties in PA.
Prior to joining Saint Joseph's University in Summer 2025, Shawn served as a Quaker Fellow for the Center of Student-Athlete Success at the University of Pennsylvania for the 2024-25 academic school year. In that role, he assisted with academic support for student-athletes on the Men's & Women's Rowing teams in addition to being a liaison for student-athlete tutoring services.
Before moving to Philadelphia, PA, Shawn served as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where he also earned a BA in Communication Studies in 2021 and an MBA in 2024.
Outside of those roles, Shawn served as an Assistant Coach of Cross Country at Wilkes University in 2023, Game Day Staff member for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022, and Assistant Coach of Track & Field at Wilkes-Barre Area High School from 2022 to 2024.
