Over the past 40 years, Professor Richard Minoff has built a global career as a biotech, pharmaceutical and life sciences commercialization and marketing strategist, brand visionary, entrepreneur and award-winning educator. His expertise includes strategic planning, marketing strategy, life cycle management, global brand development, healthcare advertising and communications, pre-launch & launch planning and marketing excellence among other disciplines.
Professor Minoff enjoyed a highly successful corporate career at GlaxoSmithKline, where he held several management assignments in brand management, government & public affairs, and human resources. He then joined Pfizer (Wyeth Pharmaceuticals) in a senior brand management role and led the start-up of their Pediatric and Consumer Healthcare Division as Director of Marketing & New Product Development. Following these client-side experiences, he launched and built, Interlink Healthcare Communications (IHC), and Dorland Global Health Communications (DGHC), into global healthcare communications agency powerhouses. After leading the sales of Dorland Global, he launched his third successful business enterprise as Managing Partner of 1 Global Partners LLC (www.1gblp.com), a leading-edge, pharmaceutical and life sciences consultancy.
As a long-time educator, he is currently Associate Professor of Practice – Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Business at St. Joseph’s Haub School of Business. Previously, he has held appointments at the Wharton School of Business, Grenoble Ecole de Management’s Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Management program (Paris), Chung-Ang University (South Korea), and the Villanova Graduate School of Communications.
