Dr. Rebecca Munger has been an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy since 2021.
She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2018. She completed a PGY1 community residency and a PGY2 ambulatory care residency with Northeast Ohio Medical University and AxessPointe Community Health Centers.
Dr. Munger is board certified in ambulatory care. In clinic, she works with the primary care providers to manage the chronic disease states of clinic patients. The clinical pharmacy services she provides include diabetes, hypertension, tobacco cessation, and adherence counseling. While at the practice site, Dr. Munger precepts PGY2 pharmacy residents, APPE students, and IPPE students.
At the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Dr. Munger teaches in multiple courses in the pharmacy curriculum including pulmonary therapeutics, uterine health, depression therapeutics, practice skills and professional behavior, and integrated practice.
