PwC 1984 to 2019 (35 years): Tax Partner: 1993 to 2019 (26 years)
Mike has been with the Firm for approximately 35 years and a partner for 26 years. He was the Firm’s global Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences (PLS) leader that includes over 9,000 professionals providing assurance, tax and advisory services worldwide. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of the Firm’s services to our PLS clients. Previously, Mike was the global and US tax leader of the pharmaceutical sector.
Mike has had many roles in the Firm, including serving as the Partner-in-Charge of International Tax Services in Philadelphia (2000-2002). He worked in the PwC Brussels office (1988-1990) and PwC London office (1997-2000) where he led the Firm’s US Corporate Tax Consulting groups and advised many public US and EU companies on cross-border transactions. Mike has extensive experience with issues facing chemical, pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies.
Mike’s clients included AZ, AmerisourceBergen, BMS, Eli Lilly, GSK, J&J, Merck, Pfizer, Novartis, Shire and Teva.
