Mary's belief in the transformative power of international study dates back first to her own experience at the University of Bologna and then to her Fulbright grant in Genoa, Italy. She has since led students abroad in Florence, conducted research around Italy, and studied English teaching in Budapest, Hungary. She taught Italian for 15 years at Indiana University and Villanova University prior to coming to SJU. In her current position, she works with semester abroad, summer, and study tour programs.
