Madalina Veres serves as the Executive Director of University Advancement, overseeing both Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) and Planned Giving. In this role, she helps initiate, maintain, and develop meaningful relationships between SJU, companies, private foundations, and individual donors. The CFR office assists corporations and foundations in navigating the University, identifying programs of interest, connecting them with appropriate faculty and administrators, developing customized approaches for strategic partnerships, and arranging campus visits and meetings. Through Planned Giving, she also guides donors in creating lasting legacies at the University through bequests, charitable trusts, and other estate-based gifts. This work ensures that donors can align their personal values and financial goals with SJU’s mission for generations to come. Madalina holds a PhD in History from University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Temple University.
