Dr. Waite is an associate professor of clinical pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration. Prior to her administrative appointments, she maintained a clinical practice with the internal medicine teaching service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Waite earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in Austin, TX. She subsequently completed an internal medicine specialty residency with an academic focus at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, the John Cochran VA Medical Center and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Prior to joining the faculty at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Dr. Waite was an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy with a practice site at Edward Hospital and Health Services in Naperville, IL. Previously, she also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy – Apopka campus while employed as an internal medicine clinical specialist at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
