Kim Logio came to Saint Joseph’s University after completing her doctoral work at the University of Delaware. She teaches the data analysis course required of all criminal justice and sociology majors, teaches an online introduction to sociology course, and teaches health and society. Dr. Logio works with students as they develop the research proposals for their senior thesis, including honors theses. She has co-authored a workbook on conducting data analysis using the Statistical Software for the Social Sciences (SPSS)©. She has also co-authored an introductory sociology textbook and co-edited an accompanying reader. Her own research involves adolescent health, body image, and deviant behavior. She is exploring a new research opportunity on traffic stops by local police officers. Dr. Logio was given a certificate of merit in teaching in 2008. She values her time with students, both in and out of the classroom.
