Katerina Dons has been a Physician Assistant practicing Emergency Medicine since 2011. A graduate of Arcadia University's PA Program, she has remained in the Philadelphia area since. Most recently, she practiced emergency medicine at rural community hospitals with limited resources. She is fiercely passionate for providing equitable care to underserved patient populations. Her academic focus is in Psychosocial Medicine, instruction on History taking and Physical exams, Emergency Medicine and Vascular Disease. Katerina has worked with the American Heart Association as an advocate for public access AEDs and spreading awareness for cardiovascular health. She has maintained an active role with the American Academy of Physician Associates, leadership with special interest groups, and helped found the PA For Women Empowerment caucus.
