Kate O'Reilly holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from Saint Joseph's University and is currently earning her master’s degree in Special Education from the same institution. Through her studies, she has developed a strong foundation in educational practices.
Her professional journey began at AIM Academy, an independent college preparatory school dedicated to supporting students with language-based learning differences. She spent 13 years teaching, primarily in first grade, where she honed her skills in creating inclusive learning environments. Expanding her experience, she took on the role of coordinator for the Teacher-Scholar Program at Saint Joseph's University, where she guided aspiring educators through their master’s residency. Additionally, she served as an adjunct professor for various undergraduate and master’s courses.
Currently, she is the Program Director for the Special Education Reading Corps initiative at Saint Joseph's University, implementing the Reading Ready program designed by Dr. Katie Pace Miles. She also continues to serve as an adjunct professor for both undergraduate and graduate education courses.
