I have over 40 years of experience in nursing and management. My career has included critical care, medical-surgical nursing, worksite wellness, care management, and non-invasive cardiology. My experience includes nurse manager in a large inner-city ambulatory center, in the critical coronary care unit, and in non-invasive cardiology. I've been part of the faculty with Saint Joseph's for over nine years.
My cross-cultural experience includes having lived in France and Egypt. This experience has broadened my appreciation for the diverse populations served within the Lancaster community. I've served as President of the Board of Love INC as well as serving on the board for six years. This non-profit organization has provided access to care for countless Lancaster County residence through a partnership with local churches. I am a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a qualified and compassionate court-appointed volunteer advocate to every child who is abused and neglected, to ensure the fundamental human right of having a safe, nurturing, and permanent home is met. Currently, I serve on the Water Street Health Services Board.
