Professor Evoy has over 20 years of brand strategy and market research experience, much of which on the advertising agency side. Early in his career he worked across a variety of categories on numerous blockbuster brands including Pepsi, Walmart, Margaritaville Seafood, Wendy's, IKEA, Converse, and OneMain Financial. As his career evolved he shifted to healthcare where therapeutic areas he's worked on include hematology, neurology, rare disease, endocrinology, psychiatry, immunology, and oncology.
- DTC experience includes working on AstraZeneca’s FARXIGA & BYDUREON (type-2 diabetes), Novo Nordisk’s hemophilia portfolio, and the National Marrow Donor Program.
- On the HCP side, assignments have included Janssen’s SPRAVATO (MDD), ViiV Healthcare’s RUKOBIA (HIV), Sunovion Pharmaceuticals' KYNMOBI (Parkinson’s), and a Travere Therapeutics rare kidney disease launch.
Professor Evoy is a lifelong learner as he's continuously learning. The degrees that he's earned consist of a Bachelor's in Marketing from St. Joseph's University, a Certificate in Strategic Brand Planning from Miami Ad School, a Certificate in Digital Marketing from NYU, and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Rutgers University.
In recent years, Professor Evoy has enjoyed a return to the classroom as a teacher. For a number of years he was a Guest Lecturer at Miami Ad School in both Florida as well as New York. Recently, he's become an Adjunct Professor at both Rider University and St. Joseph's University. Classes taught include International Marketing, Healthcare Strategic Planning & Marketing, Pharmaceutical Market Research, and he will be co-leading a Pharmaceutical Study Tour to Denmark in May of 2025.
Outside the office and classroom Professor Evoy often mentors a mini army of mentees, stays active as a cyclist, ballpark hops to loyally support his beloved sports teams, goes hiking in the mountains, and has offered his expertise on a marketing advisory board for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Jon also has annually combined his cycling and community passions since 2001 by riding in the MS150, a 150-mile ride that raises funds to fight MS.
