Dr. Sautter applies social science to her teaching, advising, and leadership at SJU. She teaches Inequality in American Society, Health & Society, and Social Epidemiology in the Cornerstone Core Curriculum. Within the Sociology and Criminal Justice majors, she teaches Statistics for Social Sciences and IDEAL Leadership and Purpose.
In 2025, Dr. Sautter won a SJU Faculty Merit Award for advising after serving as a Faculty Advising Fellow for students in the School of Health Professions. During her 10 years at University of the Sciences, Dr. Sautter won the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, Homiller Award for Teaching Excellence, Faculty Special Achievement Award, and Greek Advisor of the Year Award.
Dr. Sautter serves as the Chair of the College of Arts & Sciences Committee on Assessment and Planning, and as co-Chair of The Alliance. She is a regular presenter at SJU’s Day of Dialogue, serves as a mentor for a variety of student populations, and is a regular poll worker for the Burlington County Board of Elections.
