Esther Besson is an Admission Counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at Saint Joseph’s University. As a Philadelphia native herself, Esther is honored to represent a well-known university from her hometown. She is excited to engage and support students and families throughout their journeys to Hawk Hill, and speak on the benefits of attending college in Philadelphia. Esther also strives to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in higher education as she assists prospective students in navigating the college admissions process.
Esther is a double alumna from Boston University, graduating in 2024 with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science, and a minor in Architectural History. In Boston, she supported BU Admission as an Admission Ambassador, and later as a Coordinator for the Admission Student Diversity Board. As an avid supporter of local political life, Esther has also conducted research and supported offices for the Cities of Philadelphia and Boston. In her free time, Esther enjoys creative production & writing, watching sports (Go Eagles!), and spending time with friends & family.
