Dr. Eric Folkins, PT, DPT, DHSc, is a distinguished physical therapist and educator based in Philadelphia, PA. He serves as the Interim Vice Chair and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Saint Joseph’s University, specializing in orthopedics, exercise physiology, kinesiology, therapeutic exercise, and vestibular therapy. Dr. Folkins holds a Doctor of Health Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Drexel University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University, a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Folkins has a robust history of service to the profession, including roles such as Academy of Orthopaedic Education Chair and Board Member, American Physical Therapy Association House of Delegate for Pennsylvania and California, and District Chair. His certifications span from Essentials of Online Teaching to Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
