Diane serves as a Learner Support Specialist at Saint Joseph's. She is thrilled to come alongside of a new generation of healthcare practitioners in training to offer encouragement and support as they pursue their goals. Diane is passionate about helping students to identify and build on their strengths as they navigate the challenges of school, work, learning, and life.
With over 22 years of work in higher education, Diane has experience in a variety of roles including learning support staff, faculty member, student advisor, curriculum developer, and program director.
She is an advocate for equity and diversity in education and is privileged to have worked with and learned from students around the world. Career highlights include time spent teaching in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Egypt, Indonesia, and France. As a long-term ESL teacher and teacher trainer, she has enjoyed working with language learners in Lancaster, and seeing the rich perspective that the growing diversity adds to our local community.
Diane resides in Lancaster with her husband and son. She enjoys reading, bicycling, collaborative board games, and spending time with family and friends.
