David Logerstedt, PT, MPT, PhD is tenured Associate Professor at Saint Joseph’s University and Director of BTE laboratory. Dr Logerstedt’s research focuses on the development and implementation of translational knowledge to optimize function and reduce the incidence of long-term participation restrictions in physically active individuals with musculoskeletal injury. Dr. Logerstedt teaches in the musculoskeletal track of the physical therapy curriculum. In addition, he teaches Integrative Management and Independent Research. He is Board-certified Emeritus Sports Clinical Specialist. He is a member of the sports, orthopaedic, and research academies of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Logerstedt has been a practicing rehabilitation specialist for over 25 years and is an advocate for physical therapy and rehabilitation policies.
