Dr. Daniel Ozimek is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Saint Joseph's. He recently earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) from Penn State University, where his research focused on nursing students’ conceptions of dimensional analysis as a method for calculating medication dosage. Daniel is also a project leader of a multi-disciplinary initiative supported by the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin, the Mathematical Association of America, and QSEN -- Quality and Safety Education for Nurses, which is working to reform math education for nurses at a national level.
