Dr. Daniel Ozimek is an Associate Professor of Practice of Mathematics at Saint Joseph's. He earned his PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) from Penn State University, where his research focused on nursing students’ conceptions of dimensional analysis as a method for calculating medication dosage. Recently, Daniel was also a project leader of a multi-disciplinary initiative and national task-force seeking to improve mathematics education practices in nursing.
