Claire A. Simmers, PhD is a professor emeritus of management. Her continuing teaching career spans over 25 years at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels. Her research interests are in the sociotechnical interfaces in the Internet-connected workplace, employee well-being, and sustainability; she has over 100 scholarly works in her profile. Her most recent book is: Simmers, C.A. & Anandarajan, M. (Eds.). 2018. The Internet of People, Things and Services: Workplace Transformations. New York: Routledge, which is the fourth in a series of edited books on the Internet-connected workplace. She is a member of the Academy of Management and has served in various leadership positions within SJU and currently in nonprofit organizations.
