Dr. Blanchette is an adjunct professor of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing. He is an epidemiologist and health services researcher with expertise in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence generation. He is currently Vice President of Clinical Development and Outcomes Research at Novo Nordisk Inc. He has over 15 years of experience in leading and managing research programs, teams and departments in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare consulting and academia. Dr. Blanchette is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Medical Economics and Current Medical Research and Opinion and serves on several industry advisory boards. He has authored over 90 papers in clinical and economic journals and presented over 150 studies at national and international conferences. He is a member of and serves in leadership positions for the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and is a peer reviewer for many clinical and health economic journals. He has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Health Services Research and a MS in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland, a MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph's University and a MS in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
