Dr. Nolan is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedics. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University. Dr. Nolan works to assist in overseeing the clinical education experiences for graduate physical therapy students. She is the primary instructor for PT Exam and Health Promotion and Wellness, and serves as teaching assistant in several courses in the musculoskeletal tract. Prior to serving in academia, Dr. Nolan worked at Chestnut Hill Hospital in both the outpatient and acute care settings, and served as a clinical instructor for 10 years. She had served as an adjunct faculty member at USciences for nearly a decade, and has traveled abroad to provide pro bono services in underserved communities. Dr. Nolan is an active member of the APTA, and is a member of the orthopedic section and health promotion and wellness council. She continues to practice as a per diem physical therapist at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
