The focus of my research is the interaction between knowledge, belief and action in Plato and Aristotle. I am investigating the way in which Socrates forms and maintains his beliefs through active inquiry in the dialogues of Plato. I am also interested in the concept of dialectic in Plato's Republic and Aristotle's reception of this understanding of dialectic.
